We developed the flattened contour MEDIASTINAL DRAIN series with the special needs of the cardiac surgeon in mind, allowing the surgeon to choose an eyehole pattern best suited for the procedure.  The non-collapsing, flattened profile resists rolling, is smaller and provides a higher capacity flow than an equivalent round drain.  These profiles are also available as filtered sumps.

For the plastic surgeon, we provide a complete line of 4mm-13mm flat drains with our patented non-collapsing profile, 7fr-19fr round drains, trocar, and our exclusive flat sump.  The line includes a full range of drains for the paediatric and general surgeon as well.

Silicone penrose drains (with and without internal ribbing) and medical and commercial grade continuous tubing are also available.

All silicone drains are available with the exclusive CLOT STOP^® coating that enhances flow without compromising the natural clotting processes and avoiding the concerns common to heparin use.
